Few days before spring of 2015, I took this picture. This is near the old location of Washington Post at 15th St. Somehow this picture I took invokes a feeling of emptiness.
Like a tree that must fall to the ground as a seed an be covered with earth, life's transformation is not without pain and sacrifices. This tree may be pleasant to behold during fall, it can be boring during during summer, or sad during winter when it look like just a dead tree without leaves. But come spring and signs of life begin to show. It doesn't matter how many winter, spring, summer or fall, the tree knows that that somewhere along the way, life can be beautiful.
While its neighbors already started to accept the changes for the coming of the colder season, this one resists the change and stick to its own. The beauty of diversity. As if saying that resistance to change is not bad at all as long as you continue to add colors and give one moment a unique experience.
